"Hospitality"
Hospitality greets and welcomes visitors and members with a smile
and makes them feel welcome.
Anyone giving assistance in the body of Christ is in the ministry of
hospitality. When you serve God’s people, you are in the ministry
of hospitality. You may think you are not qualified for the ministry
of hospitality, but remember that it is God who qualifies you for
service. Hospitality is ministering to others not only in the church,
but it includes shining our light outside the church
The purpose of hospitality is having enough loving people serving.
Do you want to be one of those loving people who serve?

| The Saturday Review We were entertained and encouraged by the Sister to Sister Drama Team during the Sister to Sister Birthday Celebration. They presented a skit entitled, “My Heart: Christ’s Home.” Jeremiah 17:9 tells us that the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked. Who can know it? Only the Lord can search the heart. We found out that we must surrender our heart to the Lord, in order for him to live within us. We can’t hide anything from him, in order for him to be Lord over your life; we must give him complete control. Are you willing to give him the deed and title to your heart? |
A Week to Remember
Triad 2008 was a phenomenal experience for all ages. Beginning at 8:00am with morning prayer and
leading into classes for everyone. I was privileged to attend one day of the Women’s class with Mother
Willie Mae Rivers, where she shared productive information about some of the history of the church,
including the role of the women. She also encouraged us to do our homework and get to know this
information for ourselves for the enhancement of more effective witnessing.
My children were so excited about the daily Bible lessons and also the new friendships that developed
through the fellowship with other churches.
The noonday and night services were also very enjoyable.
To sum it all up for me, Triad was one week of educational
yet bonding experiences. In that one week I saw people
working with what God gave them and it was always more
than enough. Whether it was car pooling, sharing rooms
or even simply sharing snacks, but most of all the way
everyone showed love one toward another.
I am looking forward to my family and I attending Triad next year,
if the Lord permits and I encourage everyone else to do the same.
I promise you will be blessed!
